Silk on hinged, head-caps and tail-caps frayed, otherwise a clean and neat copy. Edited by William Harrison Ainsworth, including Leigh Hunt’s frequently quoted introductory essay “Pocket-books and Keepsakes” (p. 1-18).

Contains steel engravings after Thomas Stothard, John Martin, William Turner and others, including a frontispiece stipple engraving in colours after Stothard; an early specimen of colour printing in Britain. Contains the first printing of Shelley’s “Sadak, the Wanderer” (illustrated by John Martin).
